Miroslav Bachinski
Workshop Title: Workshop on Biomechanical RL
Biography: Miroslav Bachinski is an Associate Professor in Human-Computer Interaction and the HCI research group leader at the Department of Information Science and Media Studies at the University of Bergen. His research focuses on developing and applying data-driven methods to research and design problems within HCI and medical technology, including improving post-desktop user interfaces with a large space of alternative designs (e. g., Virtual Reality, Levitation), developing wearable sensor systems, developing digital biomarkers for early diagnosis of dementia, and developing assistive technologies and technologies for the aging population. He adopts machine learning and artificial intelligence technologies, optical motion capture, movement dynamics modeling, biomechanical modeling and simulation, in addition to traditional HCI methods.
