Helena Anna Frijns
Workshop Title:
Biography: Helena Anna Frijns is a PostDoc at the research group Intelligent User Interfaces, at the Interdisciplinary Transformation University Austria (IT:U) in Linz, Austria. She completed her doctorate on Human-Robot Interaction at TU Wien in Vienna, Austria. Her doctorate focused on communication models in HRI, and on enhancing human agency by making it easier for end users to interpret and adapt robot behavior, through methods such as end-user programming and transparency. Her current research interests are adaptation of system behavior to human preferences, evaluating communicative behavior by robotic systems, and theory in Human-Robot Interaction and Human-AI Interaction.
